Dazzling stars on high Manmade detritus An affront to the eye

Living In a Plastic World

Tons of It In circles Swirls

Around fins And Tails it Curls

Corpses In death nets Do Whirl

Nothing Was the least They could Do

Denial and Complacency Together Grew

Bipartisan agreement Without Me and You

Placing All living things In the balance Too

With so many Living in The State of Denial

Concerning Climate change

Vaporous patriotism Impregnates sky Gone with the wind

Leaning Up against this Wall Wishing to again Stand Tall

Spirit broken Resolve Weak Nourished solely By Defeat

Bedraggled, dirty Down on Luck Needs eclipse a Few spare Bucks
