Tried
And true
Vagabond
Traveled
Here and then
Yon
Acquaintances made
Far and
Wide
Deep loneliness
Eager to
Hide
Many a year
Had
Passed
Since
Visiting home
Last
As road
Curved up
Ahead
Waning
Fear and
Dread
Arising
In
Mind’s eye
Crackling fire
And warm
Apple pie
Upon the threshold
Tears
Wept
As
Long ago promise
Finally kept
