Life
Should be like
Opening a
Gift
Done slowly
And
Methodically
With great
Anticipation
Untying the bow
And
Setting it aside
For
Future use
Sliding your fingers
Under the tape
To carefully loosen it
Without
Tearing the paper
Taking
A quick peek
To see if you can tell yet
What’s inside
Slipping off the wrappings
And being
Delighted
With what you find
Done properly
It takes
Decades
