Wonderful photo . Such wise eyes. I subscribe to a Canadian birding organization and they report on the backyard bird count and the birdfeeder bird count. I also support the Peregrine Fund for birds of prey. I love the information I get from both organizations.
The Bird Count gives people an opportunity to observe and count birds. Lists are submitted to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. It provides biologists with a snapshot of bird populations each year at this time, so they can study trends.

That’s great, Anne. I find birds fascinating, especially raptors. We keep our feeders well stocked year round.
