Yes, we can snatch up that Halloween candy before they start putting out the Christmas stuff!

Oh goodness! In truth, my budget doesn’t allow for much candy-buying–which I consider a distinct advantage! Usually if I want something sweet, I just bake it π Though I admit there are a few things at Christmas I like–Chocolate Covered Cherries, for example!

On October 31, the eve of All Hallows’ Eve, Halloween has to do with a celebration to remember the dead. Activities include trick-or-treating, carving pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns, costume parties, playing pranks, church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead. For most children in the United States it is a time to have fun and eat lots of candy!
