Lifelines
Crisscrossing
Every inch
Of
The face
Gnarly hands
Resting upon hips
At
An ever expanding
Waistline
Quickly
Reaching out
To touch
The mirror’s surface
Instantly
His
Inner child
Surfaced
Smiling back
At him
Still
Alive and well
