They might soon enough – as the old saying goes – you don’t know what you’ve got until you lose it. Sadly. I was intrigued that England went to New Zealand a couple of years ago to get disease free bumble bees to start repopulating England due to mass deaths.

Many of our local hives have suffered from colony collapse. I don’t think many people realize the role bees play.

Yes, healthy hives are in great demand….transported all over the country for pollination.
