We have a feeder like this outside our community dining room, except there’s no guard against squirrels. Birds and squirrel vie for food, entertaining the diners. Diners always cheer for the birds!

We have a couple of squirrels in the back yard, along with deer, fawns, cats, stellars jays but we only see the squirrel on occasion and I haven’t managed to capture a picture, one because I can’t see well enough (I see movement of leaves and branches as he scurries up and down) and 2 I don’t have a camera. That would help! lol There’s something cute and rambunctious about them I find completely entertaining and even captivating.

Those are my favorite gremlins. We had a bird feeder outside our kitchen window and their persistence and resourcefulness never ceases to amuse.
