Yes, a record number. My husband and I were just lucky to be there at the right time. Probably a once-in-a-lifetime for us.

Yes, it was an emotional experience to see and hear that huge mass of geese. I’m so glad we decided to check out the lake that day.

Wow, I’ve experienced lift off of maybe 30 or 40, I thought that was impressive, it must have been mind blowing, and very noisy. Thanks for these beautiful photos and poetry
