This handkerchief dates back to my mother’s wedding in 1944.

I don’t recall if it was new at that time, or something ‘old’ or ‘borrowed’.

She passed it along to me in 1976 at the time of my wedding.

Handkerchiefs have become a rare item from a bygone era.
