   • I bet they make great gifts – I like the 8×10 journals – just a good size – but I know some folks who love the ones you like. and even know a colleague that uses them for part of his scheduling

8. I have written in journals off and on but never daily. Well, when my mom got sick and I was at the end of my marriage I wrote a LOT, sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. And I do still have my journals, only they are nothing fancy, just spiral notebooks.

   • I use these for first drafts of poetry and jotting down ideas. And I do some organizing of posts for my blog, too. I think journals of all kinds are a great way to process ideas and emotions.
