I shot this late last week at a local public garden. Our temps have dropped since with cold wind. I hope they made it through. I’ll check in a few days.
We have been covering our pansies the last few nights as lows have dipped into the teens. They are tough cookies, but night after night of bitter lows are taking a toll.
A friend’s tulips have poked up through already! I bet they aren’t as happy as yours look, we have wind chills in the minus teens!

Hooray! I put a bucket over my almost-bloomed tulips to protect them from the foot+ of snow we’ve already gotten.

No tulips here yet. Not even the leaves have surfaced but there are daffodils that are still firmly in bud. So thank you for this brave tulip!
