The first image with the yellow and purple complimentary colors against the desaturated background is exquisite. The flower seems so delicate and has a fascinating glass like quality to it. As if it could be translucent even though it is not. And the petal reaching off to the left…. the whole image is ‘perfect’!
Yes, that water lily is almost translucent. I find them fascinating to photograph, as they look so different depending on the time of day and the available light. Thanks so much for commenting!
