I always wondered what those flowers were called. They’re out along the trails and I love them, but never remember to look them up. Thanks for the ID! LikeLiked by 1 person
Chicory is such a lovely plant. I will have get some for my garden. I love wild flowers, and so do the bees. 🙂 LikeLiked by 1 person
All parts of the plant are supposed to be edible. When the leaves are young, they can be used in salads. And the root can be cooked and eaten as a vegetable or used as a coffee substitute. LikeLiked by 2 people
