I may have mentioned this before, but you will want to check out Dr. Matthew Sleeth’s book, “Reforesting Faith,” an examination of trees in the Bible, from the first vegetation mentioned in Genesis to the last Tree of Life in Revelation. Very easy reading and fascinating for anyone who cares about “our Father’s world.” I.e., it is not ours to do with as we please, but to care for as temporary tenants.
Love this proverb 😀
