Had a winter like that the year we left NJ. Let’s just say when they had to use a dump truck to take enough snow away to plow the recent snow I kew it was time to go! The good news is a)the snow is beautiful and b)spring is about the spring!
Our average total snowfall for the whole winter season is 26″. We received more than that in February alone. It is raining now in my part of the state and temps are finally beginning to rise into the 40’s and 50’s. Parts of the state are under a blizzard warning the next few days.
Love your picture, I hope it warms for good soon for you. It’s a funny world, Sandy. This has been one of the warmest on record here in Houston, Texas. Climate Change? 🙂
Yes, climate change, I fear. It is finally warming here. It’s to be in the 50’s next week and dry. Unfortunately, all the snowmelt and recent rains have now caused devastating flooding in much of the state.
That’s a ridiculous amount of snow. Really.

I agree, “ridiculous”…and I understand the loss of humor, as mine has an expiration date in similar situations 🙂

Glad I’m not the only grump (Ha!).

Oh gosh, no! I’m not sure what to blame my grumpiness on–but I need to “snap out of it, already!!” 🙂

Even in Muscat which will be very hot, it is still cold, can’t imagine how the snowy places will be

Hard to conceive from down here, what would you normally expect (if anything in spring)?
