Yes, a good place to get away.

Hi, Sandy. I like your “small town” take on the challenge! This looks like the prototypical mid-century place. Great idea.

Thanks, Patti. Nebraska has many small towns of 200 to 1,000 residents. They have great charm, but struggle to survive. This particular shot is from a trip to Colorado.

I lived in the Midwest for 8 years, so I understand the struggle to survive.

I really like small towns and would dearly love to live in one again.

Yes, away from the hustle and bustle.

Reminds me of some of the small towns, that I have visited in Texas. Quaint…. a reminder of a gentler time. 💙

I like your take on it. 🙂 I came from a city (well, 300.000 people but it’s the capital of Slovenia) to rural Tuscany. It suits me very well. (Nothing rural in my lifestyle though, just the countryside around.)

Thanks. It’s nice to escape the fast pace of big city life, I think, even though where I live has a population of 250,000+.

A great shot of a quintessential small town. Lovely poem too.

Love this poem and picture. A lot of small towns have much more to offer than you’d think.

Definitely. A less harried lifestyle, for one.
