in place of honor
soybeans, wheat and stormy sky
midwest heritage
********
This watercolor belonged to my parents.
They gifted it to my husband and I
shortly after we were married.
It has hung above the fireplace in both
homes we owned for the past forty years,
a beloved reminder of family and our roots.
Very pretty!!!! 🙂

This is such a nice response to the beloved challenge. Such a wonderful scene in that watercolor the clouds, the crops. Really nice that you have given it a place of honor.
